Morphology
A very sweet boy.
Gorgeous morphology.
Marinero Brillante is a spectacular representation of the PRE breed in morphology, movement, type, nobility, and mind. He has tremendous suspension in trot and canter, and is extremely well balanced in both trot and canter. He is training in classical dressage, and has a wonderful career ahead as a PRE in the top levels.

Marinero's sire, Armas Zarzeno, is a full brother to International sensation and champion, Armas Tarugo. Armas Zarzeno has an extensive competition record in Spain, including several medals and Mejor Funcionalidad awards. He is Calificado and Joven Reproductor Recomendado in doma clasica. Armas Zarzeno's dam is Jalea IX, a Reproductor Mejorante of the breed. Marinero's dam, Farino VIII is sired by a Rafael Martinez Suay stallion, Garboso IV, by the great Jupiter VI, whose line goes to Navarro V (Marin Garcia) by Albero II. Farina's dam has a heavy influence of Miura.

Marinero has a vibrant temperament and intelligence. He is extremely willing, loves to work, and to have interactions with his human. He is kind and noble, powerful with good energy, yet solid in his brain. He learns very quickly.

He is a joy to ride, and has tremendous talent for FEI level dressage, with a natural suspension and suppleness that can be hard to find. His movement is lofty. Collection is very easy for him in trot and canter due to his strength, power, and morphology. He is already developing piaffe and collected canter work. Marinero is advanced in his work in long reins, and is excelling in them.

Willow Creek Stud has a lot of faith in this young stallion as an emblematic stallion for the stud. He has not disappointed, and we look forward to presenting him to the outside for stud services!
