Policies & Guidelines
Dr. Elizabeth Babits of the Virtual Classicist and Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding Academy, Inc. is a practicing equine veterinarian. She cannot and will not provide any veterinary services online without a Valid Client Patient Relationship.
I acknowledge that working with horses in any capacity can be dangerous, possibly resulting in injury, loss of life, injury to my horse, or to property. I knowingly assume all risks whether they are known or unknown when handling, grooming, or working with my horses. I knowingly assume all risks, known or unknown, of working with my horse while participating in the Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding Academy Virtual Classicist programs which include but are not limited to: Academy membership, online video library, online courses. I hereby release Dr. Elizabeth Babits and Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding, Inc. from all liability for any negligent act or situation on my part. In consideration of my participation in these courses and in the Virtual Classicist, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Dr. Elizabeth Babits and Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding Academy, Inc., and any associated personnel or employees, representatives, or executors from any and all liability or claim for injury to myself, my horse(s), or my property due to participation in the Virtual Classicist. I agree that I will hold harmless, indemnify, and defend Dr. Elizabeth Babits, and Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding, Inc, and associated personnel, employees, representatives, and executors against all claims, demands, and actions which include but may not be limited to court costs and attorney fees in the event of a lawsuit brought by me or prosecuted on my behalf or for my benefit, in which this release is upheld. Any dispute in this agreement will be adjudicated in a State or Federal Court located in Grant County, New Mexico.
I hold harmless Dr. Elizabeth Babits and Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding Academy, Inc. and any instructors, employees, or personnel associated with the Virtual Classicist.
I acknowledge that my horse is not expected nor may be able to do all of the exercises set forth within the online course material, and I hold Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding Academy, Inc. free of any liability or claims asserting that the horse should achieve any and all work set forth in the programs.
For the Virtual Classicist, including the online courses, Academy membership, and 6 or 12 month subscription to the online video library, all payments are final.
Should you decide to cancel your online course, you will have the end of the month to still partake in the course. If you wish to cancel the Academy membership, and are paying monthly, you will still be allowed access until the end of the month. If you cancel your Academy membership and have paid for the year, you will have access to the end of the month that you cancel in.
No refunds are given for cancellation of an online course for any reason.
No refunds are given for cancellation of a monthly Academy membership.
Up to a 50% refund may be given for cancellation of a 12 month Academy membership.
No refunds are given for cancellation of the 6 month subscription to the online video library. No refunds are given for cancellation of the 12 month subscription to the online video library.
A cancellation of a subscription, membership, or online course must be provided in writing via email or mail.
Payment methods are through PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard.
Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding Academy operates the Willow Creek Stud and the Sangre de Reyes Classical Riding Academy website, which provides the Virtual Classicist, consisting of the online video library, online courses, and Academy membership.
This page is used to inform website visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use The Virtual Classicist at www.willowcreekstallion.com.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using The Virtual Classicist, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, and postal address. The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you.

In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
